   WHAT IS THIS WEBSITE?

This site is an online documentary depicting daily life with severe
psoriasis.  Psoriasis is a skin disease that can range anywhere
from mild to severe and can have a significant impact on those
with particularly the severe forms of the disease.  Unlike many
other diseases, psoriasis is rarely talked about or even well
known by most people, and some of those that do know about
psoriasis simply dismiss it as a cosmetic problem.  Nothing
could be further from the truth.  This site is about psoriasis from
a patient's perspective, from my perspective, and what daily life
is like for those with the severe form of this disease. See Below....
PICS and VIDEOS

Through the use of digital pictures and videos, this website will
show EXACTLY what is involved in the day to day life of a person
with severe psoriasis. The content is very graphic and may be
disturbing to many people who are not accustomed to seeing
images or videos of severe skin diseases.  Some of the photos
and videos will focus on the removal of dead, flaking, bloody
psoriasis skin from many parts of the body and scalp, while
others, for example, will document what it's like to wake up
each morning, lying in a pile of dead skin, stuck to clothes or
bed sheets because the seeping blood has dried overnight.  
This is the REAL psoriasis, the kind that nobody wants to
acknowledge or talk about, including many of those with the
disease that spend their entire lives covering up, hiding away
from the world.  I refuse to hide any longer!!
